The foster care system provides safe homes, but young people need more. They need someone to teach them, guide them, and help them build the knowledge and relationships that make independence possible. We're here for that.

OnRamp To Independence was founded on a simple belief: every teen deserves the same opportunities to learn life skills and develop a plan for their future. Our Founder, Jeremy Seipel, an MBA, adoptive parent, and foster dad, created OnRamp after witnessing firsthand the gap between what young people in care know and what they need to thrive independently.
While foster parents are doing incredible work, they often don't have the extra time or resources to teach the basics. And sometimes, young people simply don't want to learn from their caregivers. That's where OnRamp comes in. We pair strategic life planning with real mentorship and tools so every teen can build their own roadmap forward.
