OnRamp To Independence ("OnRamp") exists to equip and empower foster youth and young adults aging out of care with the life skills, experiential training, mentorship, and tools to build independent, fulfilling lives. This agreement sets clear, mutual expectations so that every participant can get the most from our programs and every participant can trust that OnRamp will show up for them.
Regular, consistent engagement is essential to getting results from OnRamp programs. If a participant misses three (3) consecutive scheduled sessions or touchpoints without communication, OnRamp will attempt to re-engage via available contact methods. If contact cannot be made within 30 days, the participant's active enrollment may be paused or closed, with the option to re-apply when ready.
We understand that life as a young adult — especially one transitioning from foster care — involves unpredictability. If you are going through a hard time, please reach out. We would rather work through a difficult period with you than lose you from the program.
Voluntary Withdrawal: A participant may leave any OnRamp program at any time, for any reason, without penalty. Please notify us so we can properly close your file and offer referrals if appropriate.
Involuntary Termination: OnRamp reserves the right to suspend or terminate a participant's enrollment in the event of: (a) repeated violations of the Code of Conduct; (b) behavior that poses a safety risk to staff, volunteers, or other participants; or (c) fraudulent misrepresentation on program materials. In all cases, OnRamp will communicate the reason and, where possible, offer a referral to another organization.
OnRamp maintains strict confidentiality of all participant records. Your information will not be shared without your written authorization, with the following exceptions required by law:
If any of the above exceptions apply, OnRamp will make every effort to notify you before disclosing information unless doing so would create additional risk.
OnRamp To Independence provides coaching, mentorship, and resource connection services — we are not a licensed mental health, medical, or legal services provider. We strongly encourage participants to seek licensed professional support for medical, legal, or crisis needs. OnRamp's liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable Georgia law governing non-profit organizations.
By signing below, I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this Participation Agreement. I understand this agreement takes effect on the date signed and remains in effect for the duration of my enrollment in OnRamp programs.
